I purchased my first soy lotion candle last year and simply love it. I keep it by the stove in case of emergency! I only bought one because I'm skeptical of these type of advertisements. A candle that will help with burns, bites, etc?? With my boyfriend being a pharmacist, I've learned that some products are not always what they seem and do not work like the label claims.

A few months back, I was taking a frying pan from the stove to the sink and it slipped out of my hand. Not thinking, I grabbed the pan and not the handle. I burned all fingers and the palm of my hand. I'm sure my instant reaction to put my hand under cold water helped greatly. However, I reached for my candle and just covered my hand with soy lotion. After a few minutes, the burning was gone and I put on a surgical glove to keep from getting lotion everywhere and kept right on working in the kitchen. Thank you for your wonderful product!

My name is Jennie and I live in southern Illinois. A very close friend of mine just moved to Myrtle Beach and for Christmas she gave me one of your soy candles. It is fantastic! It makes my hands softer than anything I have ever used! Which is saying a lot because I am a beauty advisor for Estee Lauder cosmetics! I just wanted to let you know that you have a great product and I plan on buying them for all my friends and family when I come to SC on vacation in a couple of months! Keep up the good work! I want to thank you for your soy candle product. It is a great candle. I have eczema and the dermatologist has prescribed several medicines and lotions for me. NONE of them work as well as your candle does. My girlfriend gave me one last year for a gift and once I finally got to use it, I was amazed! ...Any time my eczema acts up, I use the candle. It not only helps with my skin condition but is also makes my hands smoother than anything I've ever used.

My wife and I visited your shop in mid February of this year. We purchased three soy melts, which we have been using on a regular basis. They have been like a miracle cure for us. When used regularly, it has almost cured the eczema, which I experience on my hands. My wife uses it regularly to relieve dry and cracked feet.

Our grandson ... was visiting us here in Murrells Inlet from Michigan. While here he had gotten sun poisoning and we had tried everything that was recommended by the druggist, but to no relief. ... the owner of the store suggested that we try the soy candle which we did. It was instant relief from the itching. Needless to say our grandson was very happy and relieved so he could now go out golfing, which we did the next day. Thank you and God bless.

I was in your store in May and I purchased two soy candles. I was informed by your employee what the soy candle would do. Well, my husband Bill has a severe case of psoriasis all over his body. Since we have been together he has always worn long sleeve shirts. He was embarrassed to show his flaky arms. He started applying the soy candle every day and his arms have never looked better. This past weekend he had me purchase short sleeve shirts for him. I almost started crying. This candle has changed my life. He has a smile on his face and is no longer embarrassed. I want to thank you for this wonderful product.

I wanted to personally tell you how much my husband loves your soy candles. For some reason it is the only thing that seems to heal the cuts on his hands. He works in a hospital in the catering department and his hands are always in water, therefore, dry, chapped and full of cuts. I'm so glad we found a solution to his problem!

The soy candle that I bought for my dog Teddy worked great! He has a skin infection and takes an antibiotic, but that doesn't make him stop scratching. A little while after I applied it to him, he immediately stopped scratching his nose on the furniture and digging at his paws. The candle also smells really good! I can't believe it worked.

While at Pawleys I ordered a special made candle from you. It was received in the fall but I was unable to respond at the time. The aroma you created was Coppertone and I love it. ...In October...I had a cranial aneurysm. In Dec. I had a second one operated on as well. Needless to say, my recovery was long and slow but I am a miracle and fully recovered. I do believe that the joy of summer, as recalled by your creative candle, helped the miracle come to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach we visited your shop. It was during the several hurricanes that we were having here in Florida. We had been able to reach friends in the area to hear that we had no electricity or telephones except our cell phone. You were so very kind to give me a large assortment of candles, large and small to share with my neighbors ...We arrived home to find our entire yard filled with fallen trees. ...Since we had no electricity and were not able to work outside because of fallen lines we could do very little for nearly a week. Believe me when I say that the candles you gave me were a godsend. My neighbors as well received a share of them. Until you are out of electricity you just don't realize how little we can do in our homes. I, my husband and my neighbors want to thank you for your thoughtfulness, you went out of your way to help out people you don't even know and may never see again. God bless you and your business.

In May I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach and our bus tour stopped in the village where your store is located. I came in to look around and I purchased three of your soy candles. You were telling me they were great to use as moisturizer for your hands. As I walked around I heard you telling someone how good they were for your feet, especially when its cold and your heels get dry and cracked, so I purchased one for myself. I'm a diabetic and this has been great for me. I have been using it since I purchased it in May and my feet have been nice and soft. It will be put to good use this winter especially because that's when your skin dries out from the cold. I will be calling you to order a couple more.

Hello! My name is Jill ... I am 35 years old and have suffered with atopic dermatitis and hand eczema since birth. My hands and fingers crack and bleed and sometimes become so sore that it is had to use them. I have used cortisone cream for many years. I usually coat my hands with the cream and put cotton gloves on at bedtime. I have always done this at least twice a week. Since purchasing a soy candle from your store in Pawleys Island, things have changed. I have been coating my hands with the liquid from the candle, and it is amazing how much better they feel. It makes them very soft, and they don't seem to crack as much. Also, I have only been using the cortisone cream about once every two weeks. That is wonderful! Not only is the cortisone cream bad for me, but is also costs around $150.00 a tube. Wow! I would recommend the soy candles to everyone. Not only do they smell great and produce a relaxing atmosphere, but they are beneficial to the skin. I also rub the liquid into my cuticles and on dry cracked heels. I love the candles!

I received my first two candles for Mother's Day this past May and I just fell in love with them. My daughter Alison purchased your soy Lily of the Valley and the soy Vanilla. The fragrances of these candles are so outstanding. Alison is attending Coastal Carolina University and this July she flew home to New York for a short stay and with her came two more candles, your soy Cookies N Cream and Caramel Vanilla. At this time I was just diagnosed with Lyme disease and was on heavy medication and did not have much of an appetite. I think those candles were just what I needed. The aroma made me think of eating and I did. I also love to rub the warm soy oil on my cuticles and hands. My nails have become very healthy and hard, which I can only think is the soy oil helping them. When we got hit with the recent blackout up here in New York I have to say my home smelled so good. I had a little of the Vanilla candle left, lit that along with the Cookies N Cream and Caramel Vanilla and listened to my battery operated radio and survived the blackout. Thank you for such a well made candle; and all candles are not created equal. Yours is #1 in my home.

I was visiting my sister in South Carolina and wanted to tell you that we had an enjoyable experience shopping in your shop in Pawleys Island. My sister and I enjoyed conversation with the other ladies, shopping and complimenting the wonderful scents that you have on display. It was great that you could sample the burning soy candles. I applied the 100% unscented pure soy candle liquid on my elbows which are badly dried out from psoriasis, and immediately I felt a relief of my skin softening and removing that dry, scaly look that I have had for many years. I also put some on the back of my scalp and it relieved the itching and left a warm smooth feeling. I had told my sister that it was as enjoyable to use the soy candles as it is having a spa treatment. When I went back to New York, I shared the soy candle with two friends, who had badly open cuts on their finger tips from having their hands in cleaning solutions and they too experienced the quick relief of their skin softening and healing. I wanted to thank you for creating this product and convinced that it will help relieve many skin conditions.

It was our pleasure to vacation for the first week of March in your area. It was our first trip to Pawleys Island and we had a delightful time. While in your shop my husband tried dipping his sore fingers in the warm oil of your burning candle. Your saleswoman, ... was very helpful and informative. He was so impressed that he bought one to bring home to continue treating the cracked skin. Three weeks later his skin is completely healed and pain free. We consider this an amazing thing as he has bought everything in the pharmacy for this problem, including several brands of "crack" cream. This skin problem has plagued his fingers for the last three years. Therefore we ordered a candle from you to be sent to our daughter-in-law for her birthday. It arrived promptly and in time for her celebration, thank you. She suffers with headaches as well as dry skin so we thought she would be a perfect tester for your product. We like your candles so much that we have loaned our candle to The Farmers Daughter gift shop here on the outer banks of North Carolina.
